Juicy tonkatsu at Salon de Donkkasu

May 14, 2014

This yellow house, Salon de Donkkasu(돈가쓰살롱 in Korean), makes tonkatsu, or Japanese pork cutlet. Located in a growingly popular neighborhood of Seochon village(->Stroll in Seochon village) in Seoul, this eatery is good to stop by for lunch.

The dish is served with rice, salad, and even kkakdugi or cube-shaped radish kimchi. Its fried golden crispy Panko crumbs came up to my standard(well, I admit my taste buds are not that sensitive) and the pork meat inside was soft and juicy. The price is between 7,000 won~9,000 won.

I also had a glass of beer... :)
