Dilmah tea room in Seoul

December 28, 2013

It was the last weekend of the year 2013.

Well, I had some refreshing time last Saturday at a tea room run by Dilmah(딜마 in Korean) in Seoul. If you are a tea lover, you've probably heard of Dilmah, the Sri Lanka-based tea manufacturer.

It has a variety of tea products from Ceylon tea to flavory fruit tea. (For more info, visit http://www.dilmahtea.com/)

I had straight Keemun black tea originating from China. It was great and went well with a piece of nougat cake.

The Dilmah tea room in Seoul is cozy and warm. I especially felt like that as I went there on a freezingly cold evening.

I will definitely visit again and try some others.

A week in PyeongChang

The 3rd week of December, 2013

I'm having some days off from my work. I've come to my hometown PyeongChang(평창 in Korean) to help my parents prepare to move. They are moving to a new house across the river at the end of this month. Well, there are a ton of work to do including painting, woodworking and flooring.

I am excited to plant some flowers, trees and edible vegetable in a small garden in spring. I am always grateful for the nature surrounding my town.

Snow in PyeongChang

December 15, 2013

I visited my hometown, PyeongChang(평창 in Korean), for the weekend. It snowed a couple of days earlier, so the trail in the woods was covered with fresh snow.

I enjoyed the view and the chilly air on my cheeks walking up the trail so much.
