Not a good quality, but I like it anyway.

Whenever I go to JeonsCoffee(전광수 커피 in Korean), I always order Assam milk tea.

While I thought to myself that it is odd I have milk tea in this popular coffee house, run by barista Mr. Jeon, I used to end up with milk tea on the table.

Today, however, I finally tasted its coffee, of course iced, thanks to the summer heat!

It was scorching hot today, so I needed something to cool down the heat.

I ended up having iced Saigon latte, Vietnamese espresso with condensed milk.

It was so soft and refreshing!

Night cherry blossom in Seokchon Lake Park

March 30, 2014

I have posted about Cherry blossom in Seokchon Lake Park (석촌호수공원 in Korean) and this is how it looked at night. So many people out there, family, friends, and couples, that it was one good evening with all those people enjoying the short moments of blossom together in the same place.

I just got back from my 6-day visit to my parents' house in PyeongChang.

The first thing to check back at my house is my plants!

Fortunately, it seems they are in relatively good condition although the soil dried out a bit.

They need fresh water!

Green summer in Mt. Odaesan

June 11, 2014

I did something good for my eyes. Being surrounded by all green plants and tall trees!

Mt. Odaesan(오대산 in Korean) in PyeongChang was gently welcoming summer. The mountain, designated as a national park, was a perfect place for a getaway from hectic urban routines. Seasonal flowers as well as green foliage and vegetation dominate the mountain. Small squirrels appeared from nowhere, hopping here and there and enjoying their meals.

It was a little cloudy and even drizzling for a while, but that made the walking through the forest more refreshing and pleasant.

I forgot the memory card of my camera had been taken out the night before.

I found this after I arrived at the Park. :(

To some relief, I had my smartphone.

Takeout Drawing cafe in Itaewon

May 30, 2014

Located in Itaewon, Seoul, Takeout Drawing(테이크아웃 드로잉 in Korean) is a gallery and book cafe. The inside is full of art and design books, stationery and other stuffs.

It was a Friday evening, so my friend and I took the seat outside. The deep blue sky right after the sunset, gentle breeze, green plants and the lighting made our time there more enjoyable.
We got there after having dinner, so we ordered patbingsu(
팥빙수 in Korean) or ice flakes with red bean, and a scone for desserts. Such a perfect combination!
