April 30, 2014

I felt so good this morning on my way to work as the blue sky carrying white and silver clouds came back after 3 days of rain.

What a shiny morning!

"Let it be forgotten, as a flower is forgotten,
Forgotten as a fire that once was singing gold,
Let it be forgotten for ever and ever,
Time is a kind friend, he will make us old.

If anyone asks, say it was forgotten
   Long and long ago,
As a flower, as a fire, as a hushed footfall
   In a long forgotten snow."

Fresh fruit juice at Hurom Farm

March 27, 2014

If I want to have some healthy fruit juice near my work, I go to Hurom Farm, a juice and brunch cafe. They say 'no sugar, no water, no additive' for their juice, which I like the most about it. It makes me feel healthier.

There are a variety of fruit juice to choose from the menu, including mixed juice like beet apple and pineapple paprica as well as straight juice. They also have some brunch menu for a meal - cheese toast, bacon egg pancake and rucola chicken sandwich, just to name a few.

My friend and I had rucola chicken sandwich and sweet vegetable cheese toast with two glasses of beet apple juice for lunch. A set of one dish and a glass of juice comes at a price of 12,900 won(US$ 13), which is quite reasonable I suppose.

Awesome!

April's image in Seoul Plaza

April 11, 2014

I posted spring flowers in Seoul Plaza(서울광장 in Korean), some in bloom and others still in the bud, a month ago(->Blooming in Seoul Plaza). Some new faces have been added since then. It is also interesting to watch the flowers change their appearance in stages as they mature.

One Tree Hill in Olympic Park

March 29, 2014

Olympic Park(올림픽공원 in Korean) in south-eastern part of Seoul is just huge. I do not know what else I can say about its size and composition. The park was built to commemorate the 1998 Seoul Olympics.

Among many other things is there One Tree Hill where a lone tree stands still in that wide-open park. The sky, wind, and grass are its only friends. Just sit and look out the hill for a while. You will find yourself relaxed and calm.
