Beauty on the streets

November 10, 2013

It feels like this is the last autumn weekend before the winter comes in. The air is chilly and people began to wear their overcoat. On my way to World Trade Center Seoul or Coex in Gangnam today, I noticed these beautiful flowers on the street. The pink flowers are all over Seoul on the streetlights. The yellow trees are near my house.

Various shapes of fall

The 1st week of November, 2013
It's getting cold, especially after the rain yesterday.
It's sad that I will be no longer able to see the vivid colors of autumn sooner or later.
To my relief, winter also has its own varieties of colors!

The first picture displays colorful trees at #Yeouido Park, an island in the Hangang River.
My friend took this picture from a tall office building across the road and sent it to me.

The second and the third are also from another friend of mine.
Apparently, I like the way she sees things!

November 7, 2013

The colors are also changing in Seoul Cathedral Anglican Church of Korea(대한성공회 서울주교좌성당 in Korean)The church, next to Deoksugung Palace(덕수궁 in Korean), is known for its beautiful architecture.

It has also lovely flowers all around it. In spring, red roses are in full bloom as photographed at the last picture.

Everyday flowers

November 8, 2013

Beauty is everywhere. These are the flowers that are in front of the doorsteps of my work. I see them everyday, but I just used to pass by these flowers. One day I saw them with full light on them and they were gorgeous.

Red ilex rotunda in Jeju Island

November, 2012

I visited Jeju Island, the southernmost island of S. Korea, last year. It was around this time.

The island is beyond beautiful and so are the trees, flowers, and everything in nature. These trees of ilex rotunda are one of them. They bear red fruits in autumn and their flowers bloom in spring. The color is so red!
