Snow falling in Deoksugung

December 12, 2013

We had snow.  It started around lunch time with light falling, but turned harder in an instant. I wanted to get snowed on a little before it got heavy, so I went inside Deoksugung Palace(덕수궁 in Korean) near my office alone.

Well, it was perfect! Just a couple of people there, and it was so quiet. I watched the place begin to turn white, thankfully.

The pictures below are in order of time except the first one, which I liked the most. You can see how snow began to turn harder and it became darker.

Wholesale flower market on Express Bus Terminal Station

December 6, 2013

Last Friday I went to a wholesale flower market after work. It is located at the third floor of Express Bus Terminal Station(서울고속버스터미널 in Korean) in southern parts of Seoul. It opens midnight through 1 p.m. next day.

Although it's a wholesale market, it's not restricted to retail dealers. Anyone can buy flowers there. It's huge and, most of all, it's a lot cheaper if you're a keen buyer.

Anyone who wants some refreshment out of your daily routines, go to the flower market. It is full of rich fragrance and vivid colors. It will make you smile. Well, it worked for me and so would it for you I guess.
